The Cottage in the Hills warehouse team will make every effort to dispatch your order within 48 hours.
Any delivery timescales quoted to you are indicative only. Orders may be delivered in one or more delivery if we are waiting for stock.
An invoice will be sent out with every order unless it is being sent to a gift recipient. In this case if you would like a copy of the invoice please advise us.
In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay and despatch it as soon as it arrives.
Cottage in the Hills does not accept any liability whatsoever for delayed delivery caused by a third party.
As soon as you have received the goods, you must inspect the goods. You will be deemed to have accepted the goods unless you notify us that you have cancelled the order and/or you return the goods in accordance with Returns Procedure. If no such action is taken, we shall not be obliged to accept any rejection of the goods at a later date.
Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the address for delivery you provide on the order form. It is important that this address is accurate and that we have a contact telephone number. Certain parcels may require a signature on delivery. Please be precise about where you would like the Goods left if you are out when we deliver. We cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to the Goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.
If any item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us and we will make arrangements for a replacement to be delivered to you. We will require proof of the damage or defect.
You will assume all risk in the goods on delivery or, if you wrongfully fail to take delivery of the Goods, on tender of delivery of the Goods by us or our carrier. Upon delivery of the Goods to you, we will also provide you with sufficient details to enable you to:
1.exercise your right of cancellation; and
2.address any intended cancellation or complaints to the correct place of business.

Please allow 3-5 working days for all items, we are sorry but we are no longer able to offer Next Day delivery. We do aim to turn around all  orders as quickly as possible.

You can track your order using a link that you will receive on your dispatch notification. You will receive this email once the order has been dispatched. It will be sent to the email address that you entered at the time of ordering. If you are not present when your parcel arrives Royal Mail or the courier company will leave a calling card for you to collect the parcel from your local Post Office or courier depot.
PLEASE ENTER YOUR CONTACT TELEPHONE NUMBER WHEN ORDERING as the delivery company may need to call you to get your delivery to you. A mobile is best.
If you enter your workplace as the delivery address please make sure you enter your company name.

If you wish to change your delivery address at this stage there will be a charge of £5.95

Addresses in special domestic regions, not on the UK mainland, such as Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands, Isle of Man are charged at a different rate.

Gift wrapping service
Here at Cottage in the Hills we really want to make your online shopping a great experience and there is nothing easier than buying a present online, get it wrapped by someone else (us!) and get it sent directly to the recipient with a personal message from you.
So if you want us to gift-wrap some goodies on your behalf, simply select the gift-wrapping option at the check-out and type in your personal gift message.
Gifts are wrapped in grey tissue and popped in a smart reusable gift box, with a magnetic fastening. Tied with a wide gold ribbon and finished with an Ochre and Ocre fabric covered luggage tag. The box is made from 100% recycled materials and is perfect for reusing for storage after use.
This option is available to you as £5 per item.
